WHY SEAT, Spain’s premier car maker, was about to present their latest car at The Paris Motor Show. The world’s biggest motor show, with more than 1 million visitors and 80K sqm of exhibition space. It was just that time of the year when automobile manufacturers need to set apart their brand, culture and product. And that’s where we came in…
WHAT Wildbytes and OgilvyOne partnered to create a never-before-seen show where car lovers could enjoy an unbelievable 4D ride while experiencing the most immersive audiovisual technologies first hand.
To achieve this we put in motion three key productions in parallel:
1/ a cinematic 360 film involving aerial, urban, interior shooting, binaural audio recording, you name it…
2/ our signature VR player to synchronize more than 50 VR headsets for an amazing group experience.
3/ motorized chairs programed to match the film’s movements.
These 3 areas were seamlessly blended and synchronized to make the challenge possible: a true large-scale 4D VR Auditorium.
More than 13,000 people loved it. It might not be a big step for humankind, but we are proud of having taken this little step for the exploding VR world!
WHAT IS THE WILDBYTES VR PLAYER?
We have developed custom technology to allow synchronization of any number of VR players on mobile devices. It also allows full remote control over these devices. For this trade show, more than 13,000 people enjoyed this flawless technology by which there was a perfect synchronization of the 360 film we produced, together with the motorized seats, to create an amazing physical-digital experience.
Our VR player is available for licensing.
